I was just looking for my boss to suggest we have a spontaneous "off site staff meeting" since one of my co-workers here just lost his mind for a minute. Poor guy... dealing with gross stupidity will do it to ya! I've been listening in to his conference call... it is gross stupidity...144 times worse than normal stupidity!

Jose Cuervo please- yes on my nerves- phone and emails non stop. People still applying for graduation. It is next week and the deadline was SEPTEMBER 20! But I have treat the slackers that come today nicely! GRRR

Two are MBA students and one is a student teacher! Gosh and to think I hold them to a higher standard!

Working at a Christian college can be frustrating! I wanna drink, but I can't! I wanna cuss, but I can't. I have to have patient and forgiveness. I am praying real hard for some patience! Sometimes we do a disservice, life lessons need to be taught that I can't teach them. I would love to make them wait until May to graduate!

Ruby - you should suggest a policy change. That if they fail to register to graduate before a certain date and don't come in for a degree review, they shouldn't be allowed to walk.

Like I said working at a Christian college... plus we are a small private college. We need all the good publicity we can get. Trust me the students know my frustration because I go on and on about all the work that goes into this. I make them go all over campus to verify they are cleared with every department, but I would love to tell them no. But that will not happen. If I want to be like that I probably would need to go to a bigger school

Looks like someone around here is trying to organize a "taco Thursday"... local bar has 50 cent tacos all night. They aren't really great, but they are really cheap and they do a good job of absorbing alcohol.
