This is what the lake looked like. The wife and I had a good weekend of Christmas shopping and relaxing. I think I can take on Monday now....
This is looking up from the lake. Again, looking up from the lake. This addition we completed a couple of years ago. Looking back into the cove. When we went down on Friday we saw 8 doe running around but didn't see another deer the rest of the weekend. This is our view toward the main body of the lake.
I could probably deal with snow if I normally didn't have it and I was just on vacation where I could sit around a fireplace and not go anywhere. But dealing with it all winter, every winter, I get sick of it real fast.
Dave- We spend a lot of weekends there over the spring, summer and fall. But there's nothing like the gulf breeze in July. Plus we hang out with our sister-in-law in Ft. Myers. So I guess we can have the best of both worlds.
Thump- We didn't build it. A contractor buiit the addition. We had him build a shell and we completed it. I did the most of the electrical but we had pros for the plumbing and drywall.
