Saki-n-Sushi-n-Wasabi

I had the chance to try sushi for the first time this past weekend. It was suprisingly good! In fact, bought some more tonight, along with a bottle of sake, and some wasabi. I am supposed to get the sake warm. Then bottoms up!

Anyone else like this stuff?

I don't even do cooked fish, let alone raw.  The closest I've come to Wasabi was being in the same conference room with Pambo when she ordered the Wasabi Ranch Chicken from TGI Friday's.  Let me tell you something... one of the worst mistakes you can make in life is to be stuck in a conference room for hours on end with an order of Wasabi Ranch Chicken and an order of Buffalo Chicken from TGI Friday's.  The smell is unspeakable.  Saki rocks!

yea I made the mistake of spreading like butter on my sushi. My nose hairs caught fire. WOW!

Dave it came in this green ball, I thought maybe it was mashed avacado or something. But like dipped in the hottest hot-sauce around.

I thought LIGHTLY spread on a ham-and-swiss sandwich it might be ok- just a bit of bite....

Aw, c'mon, chica.  Give me a break.  I didn't KNOW it was going to be quite so odiferous.  It did stink at the end of the day...but there were alot of other things in that room that reeked.  Like feet.  Remember the feet???

You mean do I remember the smell of chocolate, bubble gum, white board markers, farts, bagles, mexican food, wasabi ranch, buffalo sauce, bad perfume covered funky feet? I still have post traumatic stress disorder over it. I'll also never forget Big Dog laughing hysterically when I brough in the big bottle of Febreeze to knock it back with.

P.S... we identified the source of the funky feet.  Pambo's boss.  I gave her a complex about it so bad she quit wearing sandals. THANK GOD!!

I love sushi and I ask for extra green glop! I have a tolerance for hot food!

Sushi is okay, but I normally don't get it on a regular basis. But then again, the only time I've had sushi is at a buffet, so it probably wasn't very good anyway. And I've never tried wasabi.

Now sake is a whole different matter! I just got a sake set from a friend, and I'm getting her and her husband sake for Christmas! I love getting sake at one of those japanese steak houses where they make the food in front of you, that is wonderful!!!!

I love Japanese Steak Houses.  Mema & I used to go to one all the time...then we switched buildings & it was too far away.  We've moved closer to our old place...maybe we should go there for lunch today!
