We're getting ready to continue a tradition we started a couple years ago. We go to the gas station and load up on candy and then just drive all over town, pig out on candy, and look at all the pretty lights.

That's the kind of thing I would love to do!

I used to live on what we call Candy Cane Lane, about a 12 block row of houses that go overboard on lights to raise money for a local fund for children.

I loved walking that stretch in the winter.

Well wish me luck- tomorrow is the big day. But really my big day ended once the bulletin was sent to the printer. The rest has been dress rehearsal stuff. Anyway, I have to work at 8 and I never sleep this night- nerves! So I took a sleeping pill to aid me! Now if I can only not oversleep!

GRADUATION IS ALMOST OVER! Then I can resume my blabbing here!

Looking at the lights was fun. The boy enjoyed it too.

There's sure not as many houses decked out as normal. I suppose all that snow we got a couple weeks ago made it so people didn't want to climb over the drifts to put up lights.
