When you add the digits of a two digit number together and then subtract the number, the answer will always be a multiple of nine. If you look on the chart, all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol.

I know David Copperfield has done similar stuff on tv, and I know a card trick that does it. It's the old trick of making you think you're making a choice, when really you're forced into choosing whatever the magician wants you to.

I have the david copperfield thing at home on my computer, come to think of it. BUt its a powerpoint presentation I believe, so I couldn't post it.
