Thoughts and Prayers please.

This just hits you in the gut. It's sad and having a child near that age just makes my heart ache.

Son of Colts' Coach Tony Dungy Found Dead
Dec 22, 10:24 AM EST

LUTZ, Fla. (AP) -- The 18-year-old son of Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy was found dead in his apartment Thursday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

James A. Dungy's girlfriend called the sheriff's office at 1:32 a.m. after finding him in the apartment, said Vida Morgan, a secretary in the sheriff's public information office. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No foul play is suspected, but a cause of death won't announced pending an autopsy, Morgan said.

Lutz is in the Tampa Bay area, where Tony Dungy previously was coach of the Bucaneers.

I just got the CNN e-mail on that! How sad! I couldn't imagine the pain of losing a child.

I just read this too. I hope they do not find any dirt on the son's cause of death, that will just make it worse.

God bless his family, 18 is sooo young.

That is HORRIBLE, horrible news!

I'm sure this was pretty much the best year of his life (Tony that is) until this happened, and now instantly it's going to be remembered as the worst year. Losing a child has to be pretty much the hardest thing to deal with.

He's such a great guy. I remember when he came to Indianapolis the articles in the local papaer were not about what a great coach he is but what a great person and community-involved guy he is. That has proven to be the case.
This just makes what was of major importance yesterday just a foot-note today.

I read it this morning.  I cannot imagine.  My life would be so incomplete without either one of my daughters.
