and the whole world will cry about it like always.  Give me a break , a letter from Fl. to where ever for less than a buck ?  deliver it yourself and see what it costs.

thanks for the reminder , I've seen 1 small story about it sometime last week ,  now I need to get a few 2 centers as I just got 10 stamps last month .

We got our late Christmas cards out just in time. We only have about 10 to go but Mrs. Web got some of the new ones so we're good to go.

The other part is that I use about a tenth of the stamps that I used to! I know they are losing money. But then again they are losing work!

Actually the raise is going toward pensions.

yea you know, really......here's a buck, keep the change. I do most of my stuff via e-mail, fed x, or automatic payment....but still nice to have the blue army around....

The problem is, with UPS and FedEx, USPS is just not as reliable.

Right, you get what you pay for. I think the stamp is a deal, but I think the Postal Service is horrible at getting things delivered, even when you pay more.

I just sent something out via Priority mail and it appears to be lost. $10 in shipping expenses, a big box, and they can't get it delivered.

Of course, if I had paid for their mafia like "insurance" they would have made sure it got there.

As far as I'm concerned I'd like to see the post office eventually disappear.
