Mornin' Mel!

How was your weekend?

This is SO great, I really missed this.

It's like going to the coffee shop for a donut and one by one all the regulars come in.

And at night it's like hanging out at Cheers and talking with all your beer drinking friends.

My weekend was good, of course I consider any weekend that I can go to Barnes and Noble and shop till I drop good! I bought all three of Frank Mccourt's books. Angela's ashes, Tis, and Teacher man. All of them are in audio book form, and I'm in the process of listening to Angela's Ashes when I'm not listening to FFR. And I must be blind, but I'm not seeing the Birthday Calendar, where is it again?

Mornin' Mel! I don't think I've heard of that author before. What type of books are they?

It's a dseriues of books (three so far) detailing his lchildhood and life. Angela's Ashes covers his childhood in Limerick Irland, Tis covers his teenage years, and Teacher Man, which is the latest one covers his time as a teacher in New York. If I do say so myself he's a wonderful writer and storyteller.

Hm, I'll keep those in mind after I finish my current book. My plan is to read while I work out, and I'm a fairly fast reader, so I should get a lot of books finished!
