What makes creepy people creepy? I can pick a creepy person out from across the room, and I find out I'm usually right. It's that person that doesn't even know your name, but gives you personal advice. Their aura feels slimy, and they stare at you, making you very uncomfortable. Maybe it's the look in their eyes. I try not to judge people like that, but I think everyone here has had that encounter with a creepy person.
For example, yesterday I stopped by the store to get a lock. When I got up to the line, the guy in front of me was taking forever. He was narrating everything he was doing and trying to engage the poor cashier in conversation. She looked like she wanted to run away as fast as possible. He just wouldn't go away. He announced that he put $.11 in the "teach people to read" canister. He blessed me, and not in the friendly caring way. Then, he finally started to walk out the door, I was checking out, and he turned around, came back, got very close to me and said, "You know, a lock will only keep an honest person honest, it won't keep a thief out."
I know I sound cold and callous, but man, there are some creepy people out there.
You are right, Molly. There are lots of creepy people in the world. I have a healthy creep radar too, and for some reason they always seem to want to talk to me. I don't have a clue why that is.

I agree- and I think sometimes it might be to hit on us! I had a guy in the paint section strike up a conversation with me the other day about how nice my outfit was? Do you wanna borrow it?
I blame them for making me feel clausterphobic in crowded stores and restaurants. Creepy people seem to crowd certain parts of town in and around milwaukee- (Cudahy) not even necessarily the poorest side of town (Cudahy). But yea, I avoid certain parts of town (Cudahy)because the en masse creep factor is that bad.(Cudahy)
its like you can feel just that marble behind their eyes is starting to crumble...

You do have a point there, Ruby. Personally, I consider creeps to be a separate category from wayward lotharios... but there is frequent crossover. The Burger King guy is definitely creepy.

I might have a slightly perverse streak running through me. I have several friends who are shameless perverts. They are fun to hang around with, therefore they are the happy kind of perverts!! It's not a bad thing.

well many of my good friends are from Cudahy....... but I still make them take the bus up to my side of town if they want to visit.....its like a nice little day trip out to the boonies (Wauwatosa) for them.....they are still mad that people are no longer allowed to eat on the bus.....
