I am a morning person! But I worked in a bar for years and used to be on the 3 am bedtime and 11 am wake up call. I loved it, but that is for the young!
Definately a night owl, when I am not beat from the long work hours. Usually midnight Saturday I am gettin pretty tired.
I'd love to be a morning person, its such a great time to be able to make more time for oneself in the day. But I can't do it! The bed is just too soft and warm.

My creativity seems to explode around 1 AM and therefore a lot of times I'll start working on something around that time and end up not getting to bed until 6 AM.
But for the past five years or so I have really fought to try and become more of a morning person.
I think that night-shift stuff takes a toll on you.
I will attest that I'll be on IM with Riggs sometimes like during T-10 and some brilliant burst of inspiration, business wise, station wise etc will hit him, right as I am ready to call it a night. Next day I get up and he has e-mailed me all sorts of just awesome ideas starting at 3 am and ending at 7 am!

Night owl. Especially in summer. I actually get less sleep in summer, because I wake up when the sun is up, but with the warm weather, I can keep going well into the night. Maybe it's the fresh air. But in winter, it's cold, and I just want to be under the nice warm covers.
Is it possible to be both? I can actually go both ways on this. Like today I was up and in the office at 6:00am. Last night I was up till around 11:30. I know that's not really a night owl but I could have stayed up longer. My wife can't believe I can go on 4 or 5 hours sleep. I don't do it all the time. I get on her nerves in the morning. I'm usually chipper and ready for the day. She wants more sleep time.
I am by nature a night owl. I work better in the late afternoon well into the evening. I also go by the cycle of the sun. In the winter I have a tough time when it starts to get dark a 4pm. I will sit here and yawn for no good reason. I prefer to curl up and stay in bed. The summer has me up earlier with the birds and sun. It is definitely easier to get out of bed then.

Night owl... with my job I could end up working any hours at any time. Most of the really complex stuff goes on in the middle of the night. Whenever "morning" is for me, I'm typically grumpy and groggy.

Like Web growing up on a farm I needed to be one and I have not changed. I agree with the sun comments, I get up fairly early anyway but I can stay up much longer when it is still light out.
I am so not a morning person! Anyone who IS usually gets the from me. Singing and whistling is strictly prohibited! On the other hand I can't say that I'm a night owl either. Sometimes I can't make it past 10pm. Gosh I'm getting old! There used to be times that I stayed up all night at a friend's house and have to drive straight to work in the morning! Anyways-If I'm playing a video/computer game I may stay up all night.
