aw its more of just a glorified ad for the station ray- somethin to drop at laundromats around town to build up local listenership. People look really bored in there, this will give em something to read. I'm sure we'll probably pdf the thing tho for y'all to see!

its part of our guerilla advertising on a shoestring budget idea! Riggs has a template he likes- I've got high-speed printers where I work....we can DO this. Its stuff like this that he's up at 3 am thinking about " People look BORED in laundromats. If there's no newspaper they look even more bored. People leave pamphlets in laundromats and they stay there forever. We could do that!"

I've got label stock where I work where we could do bumperstickers.....I was thinking what a commitment that is tho! Not bad if you got a rust patch you want to cover up, but I'm not sure I'd even want one on my car.....would that be vandalism if I made like 100 of these things and got up in the middle of the night and stuck the cars around my neighborhood??

yea they are. I love it when we got a good momentum going! A lot of new folks signing up for the forum, the veterans sticking around. My buddy james at work told me about a jazz forum where I posted a thread saying "we'll play your stuff here to a world-wide audience" and I already got 2-3 bands interested, along with the 2 mz sent me......really a lot of good stuff happenin!

That's a good idea Ruby, I've never googled for that search. LOL I did post on some, even for other stations. There were a few on E-Z boards & I recently went back to check on them, posted in November 2004, and nobody had posted anything since then.....just dead internet waste hangin out there!

Just doing my usual Saturday morning server maintenance here. Moving backup files from Phoenix to Atlanta.

My wife's work is having their late Christmas party tonight. It will be ok, but its going to be "buy your own". I'm sure that will make a difference on how many people show up and how much they party.

The boy is going to his grandma's. She can take him for a couple hours, but with her health, 2-3 hours is about all she can handle at one time. She gets tired really easy.
