thanks guys!  i'm really glad you came to jamey's forum and asked for music.  this band (M.T. Handid) just sort of came together at the last minute....and we did one gig, all unrehearsed.  i wasn't sure how it would go but i heard that kenny made the legendary les paul leave the bandstand at a NAMM convention in nashville years ago, so i knew he was good.  greg is a totally wicked tenor sax, i'm glad to be playing with the dude.  this band should be interesting guys, i'm glad i can share this stuff w/you.  the next gig will be recorded too, and i'm hoping it's even better.  we will have a piano player that is unbelievable, Dave Wild.  thanks for playing us AGAIN, man i'm trippin!

Hey Derek,

It's always cool to get some new sounds on the station!

JD has been real good at digging up some relatively unknown artists to keep his show fresh, and I know he was really excited about all the responses he got from that forum!

We're glad you could join us!

Welcome Derek.

I am sorry I missed your debut on FFR. Maybe I can catch it at a later time.

hi, thanks for the welcome.  i miss the community station in dallas, KNON 89.3 fm.  i used to have a cowpunk band play live in their studio from time to time...but i live in bfe now.  waco is nearby and the sax player for my band is also my teacher, as well as the guitarist.  well, waco is a dead market for live music.  but, these guys play so well, there has to be a way to make this work....which is what i want to do:  make this band thing happen.  who doesn't want this that plays music?

i'd love to hear suggestions and criticism.  please ask the station to play our 'limehouse blues' and let me know how we did.  if it's good, tell me why, we'll try to do more of it.  my background is pretty much all styles, but i dig jazz, along with everythings else.  my fav band over the years is the 'Cramps', btw.

Hey Derek welcome to our family. We have been pretty successful at getting the music of some other local bands on here! Good luck, missed it last night, but look forward to hearing it next weekend!
