well I like myndi that I can go away for a bit, come back and see how a conversation has progressed, who stopped in to weigh in. If I were on IM I would miss a lot of the conversation due to being away from my desk etc.

Same reason why I prefer e-mail to a phone call- I can answer it when I want without being interrupted or send one without interrupting someone's dinner etc....

we've had one or two good chatroom sessions, usually that kinda happens on a friday night when people are just chillin out and crankin tunes at home.

Webguy hosts the chatroom from one of his servers, that's pretty cool of him to give us that option of having it.
