well, its funny to me...

I just requested "what's the frequency kenneth" by R.E.M. This Song hit it big in either 1994 or 95. I was a 2nd shift lead person in a mail processing factory back then. Being 2nd shift, we would crank tunes, have a good time, it was a lot of people's 2nd job........so long as the work got done, bottom line, sky was the limit in terms of fun.

So one night a local rock station debuts "what's the frequency kenneth", the new song by REM. I'd say 3 or 4 of us were waiting for this, and were just floored when REM returned to a total rock-out sound.

there was a weird guy on first shift named Mylas. By the time the song was 1/2 over, we were singing "what's the frequency, mylas"....because he was out there. We laughed to tears. On a post-it note, I had written "what's the frequency, mylas" and stuck it to a machine.

Next day, mylas had wanted a sit down with me, his boss, my boss, and the manager of operations to discuss the frequency of errors he made and for me calling him out on it the way I did......
