I think the dorky hair style is part of what ruins it for me.  But if you look at the picture on the new ROLLING STONE magazine, his hair is the "bedhead" look, and I actually took notice of his face for possibly the first time.  Good face.  Nice nose, nice lips.  I say let's check back in 10 years...

I had a flat tire yesterday, so I got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took out my cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so life like you wouldnt believe it!

Cars start slowing down looking at my lifelike men which made it safer for me to work at the side of the road.

Traffic starts backing up. Everybody is honking their horns and waving like crazy. It wasnt long before a state trooper pulled up behind me..

Whats going on here?

My car has a flat tire, I said calmly.

Well, what are those cardboard men doing here by the road?

I couldnt believe that he didnt know.. So I told him,

Helloooooo, those are my Emergency Flashers.

They're remaking Fright Night.  At first I thought it was sacrilege.  I'm not big into Collin Farrel, but for anyone that is, he plays Jerry Dandrige (the next door vampire):

So, my obsession over Gideon Emery's voice is pretty apparent.  He does a ton of voices for video games.  I fell in love with his voice in Final Fantasy XII.

Our ex-roomie got Battlefield II, which he plays over at our house.  I hate fps war games, I don't find them any fun to play or watch.  Especially when he plays online with other players.  I don't mind quite as much when he plays the story part of Battlefield II, because Gid not only does the voice of the main character, but also motion capture.

I got Dragon Age II for Christmas, which I've heard a lot about.  Including a huge group of new Gid fangirls because of his character that he voices in it.  It sounds so much like Balthier, which is also pretty much his "real" voice.  *swoon*

I also got Rise of Nightmares for Christmas.  It's a Kinect game, so you play it by acting out the motions (reach out and grab a door handle to open a door, kick to kick, punch to punch, slash to cut a zombie's head off when you're holding a chainsaw, that sort of thing).  It's a blast to play.  As I was playing this weekend, I thought, "Hey, that voice sounds familiar."  Yep, it was Gid (with an American accent, not my favorite, but still very nice).

Believe it or not, it's still his voice that gets me going, I don't even need the pics.

Not that I'm complaining.
