I'll take the Seahawks over the Panthers (but I'm not completely confident on this one, Hasselbeck is prone to the occassional meltdown and makes me nervous).
The I select the Bronco's over the Steelers. I think the Steelers last week was their super bowl.
Looks like you and I are on opposite ends again Ruby
Even though I am from PA and would like to see the Steelers win, I am not expecting it to happen. First, the Steelers have been on the road for three straight weeks. Second, they have played hard, but been lucky the last two weeks. Third, Denver is an extremely tough place to play. Denver all the way.
The Seattle/Carolina game is a tough call. Carolina has a good team. They faltered some in the middle of the season but they recovered nicely. Seattle has a strong team but I would have to wonder about some of the teams they played in route to their 14-2 season. I was going with Seattle in this game, but if they allow Carolina to throw and complete passes to Smith, they could be in trouble. Although Carolina lost their top running back, they have a good second guy. That being said, Seattle lost their top running back to a concussion early in last week's game. He is due to return, but I honestly wonder how much pounding he can take.
But that is just a short version of my thoughts. I know you are thinking, short!? Are you kidding me?
