It's starting to snow

They're saying 3 inches of the heavy, wet snow by tomorrow morning

The fairy-tale January is over and we're coming back to reality.

its past due.....doggone it they were saying an inch last night, now they are saying 3-5 inches, so that means we're gonna get 12!

Good news is we're due to be back in the 40's next week, so it won't last long.

Unfortunately it will still have to be shoveled.

No snow here. I think it was at least 55 degrees today (I haven't been outside since 8:30am when it was 32 degrees). I think the better weather will continue through tomorrow. Although, I think it may be cloudy. I expect we will pay for it sometime soon though.


Have fun shoveling boys. I will think about you as I lounge around not shoveling snow.

oh boy!

The storm teams are out in full force!

THREE BIG INCHES OF SNOW ON THE WAY and every local newscast has their "man on the street" vidoe's going so we can SEE what 3" of snow will look like.

I swear they get worse and worse every year. Every flurry warrants a full blown storm alert.

Must be a slow news day if 3" of snow is the big story.

I was kind of getting used to this warm stuff. It could get very cold again here too, but each warm day is one day closer to spring. :)

Won't be long and we'll be complaining about how hot it is.

Apparantly the flash on my Sony Cybershot isn't strong enough to light up the neighborhood. As a result the shot looks like my van is careening through outerspace!!!

I'll get some better snow pics in the morning.

Quite frankly, I'd be MORE than happy to box ALL the snow up and ship it to Ruby since she want's to have some so bad. But I don't think I could afford the shipping charges.

The weather here has been flip flopping back and forth.  One day it's 66, the next day it's 30.  Everyone in the office is sick from it.  It was beautiful yesterday.  I walked for over an hour around town.  Today is supposed to bring snow.  I live just down the street from the tavern we're going to tonight, but I'm not walking home drunk in snow.  Not a good thing to do.

Let's see. The Wisconsin folks get a lot of snow. And I get two beautiful 62 degree days in a row. I ejoyed it. It was windy today and the sun was out about half the time but it was so nice. Nice enough to make dinner on the grill. I let the fresh air flow through the house too. Alas, we are now due to go back to "normal" temps tomorrow. Oh well,, it was nice while it lasted.
