Yeah Ray, that's usually the way it works for me too.
But the complaints I was getting about that song from both forum members and just regular listeners was huge!
It seemed like for three months I was getting emails sayins "I CAN'T STAND THAT SONG ANYMORE, PLEASE GET RID OF IT".
There are always songs that get overplayed. The last two weeks I see Seal's CRAZY, 4 Non Blondes WHATS UP, and Concrete Blondes JOEY almost EVERY time I look at the cue. But for some reason no ones upset about those.
Again, now that it's not being played every day anymore, it doesn't really get on my nerves anymore.
The thing with Jane was that it was not overplayed for a few days, weeks, or even a month. It was overplayed for MONTHS! And that was back when a song could be requested twice per workday, so we heard it twice as much. I get sick of some of the other songs too, but not as much as I was sick of Jane, so I've kept my mouth shut.
I seriously considered requesting it this w/e just to tweak you all, but then I realized, I'm not THAT mean. Even angel vixens have a conscience. Sorta.
