Yeah . . . he's a stubborn little dude when he gets mad. He sassed me at the kitchen table and his video game got put up. I told him as soon as he said he was sorry, he could get down, but he wouldn't do it. We sat there for over 1/2 hr before he finally said it.

Kids.

Oh jeez, reminds me of myself as a kid.

I had this thing where when my parents would take something away from me, I'd go through this dramatic bit where one by one I'd take gifts they'd given me in the past and stack em on the kitchen table, each time announcing I didn't want anything they bought me anymore.

Of course, the flaw in my little act was that every single thing I was wearing, every single toy, every single EVERYTHING was purchased by them, with the few exceptions of gifts from relatives.

Luckily they never called me on it.

Usually they'd ignore me, and eventually I'd start taking the stuff back one by one when I realized I didn't want to part with it.

LOL

I think we all did some of that kind of stuff.

This poor kid . . . he's got my stubborness and Mrs. Web's temper. Not a good combo. He gets mad fast and won't give up.

If my mom was alive, she'd be loving this: "I hope you have a kid just like you someday!"

My mom used to say that too web!

But I showed her! I never had any kids! (guess I'm still stubborn)

Right there is the reason I'm not having kids. I was a pretty good kid, but there's no way I'd want a child just like my husband!

I had drop in guests again. but at least this time they bought beer. It was an unexpected but wonderful weekday diversion. and they bought beer. I have got to try and find the washer and dryer now for the laundry I was planning on doing.

jd, i be cool!  just chillin, the gig is a post valentines dance at the local country club.  my wife's friend is in charge of entertainment so they are putting up that cash to hire us.  we will play, have fun, and of course, record!  again, i'll send you some of the tunes.  thanks a lot for playing 'limehouse blues' man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the lineup will be: me-standup (finally) bass, chet - vocals, dave wild - piano (this cat smokes), evan klaras (guitar - another smokin cat), and terry bell (my old bandmate) on drums.  terry's drums playing is unbelievable.  believe me, this will rock!

HELL YEAH! well, gee thanks.  we get steady work, but i love the fact that someone far away can hear this music.  thanks again.  we will play our best, and eventually become more original, but cover jazz and country standard pays ok.....for now

thanks again man, this is just too cool.  and btw, i do love 80s music, i am 35....so one of these days a 80s/jazz fusion recording will happen:  goody two shoes will be first...adam ant forever!
