Today is shaping up to be a good day! Unfortunately, I don't know whether or not the groundhog saw his shadow yet. I was going to watch it, but instead I was busy winning a radio contest!!!!!!

In the mornings, I usually don't turn my computer on, so I listen to a local radio station. On Thursday, you get to ask the DJ a music related question, and if he doesn't get the answer, you win. I won tickets to Stomp, Keller Williams, and a best of Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler CD!

Oh, and the question was: Former Cream members Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce teamed up with Gary Moore in 1994 to produce an album called Around the Next Dream. What did they name the band?



Oh, and the answer is BBM.

Great job MZ! I used to win radio contests all the time, Journey tickets, George Carlin twice, Poison, about $800.00 worth of free chicken and pizza and a few cd's here and there.

Radio contests are always fun, but everytime I'd win, I'd end up winning movie tickets, and I was working at a movie theatre at the time. Lame.


One station in town here does do Free Beer Fridays, which I find quite enjoyable.


As for the groundhog,  whatever. My fear is we'll continue to have a mild winter, then around Opening day of baseball season, have a month straight of Freezing temps and snow. Endless snow.

Mornin all! The morning isn't starting great. The husband woke up with a severe headache I woke up sick. Will not go into what kind of sick cuz TMI. Hoping it will get better.


 


It's cloudy and 36 out. We have a high of 41 today.

I woke up with pink eye this morning. My wife works in an Optomitrist office. Thought she had to bring her work home I guess.

Morning all.


A slow start for me today. But the sun is out and it makes for a nice day.


Congrats to Mz. I have the best of Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler CD and I enjoy it. I bought it a couple of months ago and it was the first CD I bought in a long time.


Off to the trenches. Only six things are callin gmy name right now.

For those that are sick, GO HOME.  I stayed home yesterday after fighting for a week with a cold.  4 extra hours of sleep did the trick. I'm not at full speed, but I'm more ready to rock than before.

Ok, I am late chiming in, but actually my doctor said that as long as you started your drops- you will not be contagious. Also there are two types and one is not contagious at all!

But how will Sparky know if he has the contagious type?

Sparky, I have an idea, run up to your boss and rub your eye on his/hers.

Then if later in the day they start complaining you'll know you're contagious. If they don't complain later then you'll know you're not contagious. Plus as a side benefit, regardless of the outcome they'll be sure to think you're nuts and stay away from you in the future. More FFR time for you!

Awhile back I had the "contact" version of pink eye that wasn't contagious. It felt the same though.
