She's a singing star from like the 50's or 60's

Some guy emailed me kind of perturbed I moved his choice down the list. It didn't help that on air I mentioned I couldn't beleive someone requested her

But I didn't move her down on purpose, it was just a shuffle. He saw her disappear from the coming up list and thought I blasted her off the list.

Hey jstdve...


I'm just responding to the private message you sent me about the post about the battle ship, & respond to it in the good humor that I'm sure most people who know me on this board would take it as.....


first off, "The Big Mo" eh....I was not aware of  a ship of that nickname...now that I know of it...i now have more "firepower" to fire cybershots at riggsy & his buddies


second of all....There was a post from jeremy about being a big "five-oh" & then the pics of the battleship....I was thinking that the correlation was that as you get older...especially into your 50's, you become as old & slow as a battleship....(upon writing this I realize I was actually thinking of when you talk to your buddies & refer to your wife or girlfirend as "battleax", not "battleship")


I saw the Happy birthday mo thread first & didn't get to the happy birthday riggs or little E thread til later & didn't realize the pics were meant to be the gift, & it related in some way to the FFR forum member...again not being on the boards as often as I used to I also am at a disadvantage not knowing your creative styling & unique humor...


If that IM was genuine hurt & you felt I disrespected you, I do apologize, but again, no disrespect was intended, just without captions...I had no clue....you can though work out a misunderstanding without resorting to extreme measures....we are all friends here...even if we do hail from opposite sides of the "cheesy-bear" line.....

I feel a lot of tension this morning. My therapist says tension isn't good for me.

no tension on my side....I was a bit surprised to receive an IM that was a little roughly worded...But I realized I might have been partly to blame for that, for not understanding the context of the photos....That's why I posted the response in forum...because I have no hard feelings, feel no malice, genuinely apologize if needed, & If the IM was purposely a joke meant to be shocking...then the last line of my post was meant to address that too....jstdve...we kosher?

Mo,

Everyone is good people here, yourself included. I'm sure if there was an issue it was jut a misunderstanding.

We've learned on several occassions on the forum that things can be read differently than they were written.

Hope it's all cleared up now. I did call my therapist and apparantly he checked himself into the funny farm. Apparantly I was more than he could handle
