Enjoy the LAST midwestern Super Bowl

It's snowing in Detroit right now.

A major winter storm is hitting them with high winds and expected to dump as much as 9 inches of snow overnight into Super Sunday.

How much you want to bet the NFL won't be back from the south for Superbowls anytime soon?

will mick and the boys be performing in parkas??

I love it! add the elements into the battle for football supremacy!! that is REAL grid-iron football! old-school!!!

BUT I suspect you may be right. ALL them pansie dough-boy reporters from around the world will be whinning about the weather more than anything else.....all them people who paid handsomely for their tickets cussing all the way to and from the stadium......I bet the players and coaches of the losing team will blame the weather....

The NFL is rich. I bet they build a once a year use football stadium like in Hawaii in which all future superbowls would be held....

It's a dome in Detroit now.

The NFL would NEVER have let the game be there if it were open air, for just this reason.

But I bet you any money they're still gonna be mad. because you have to be a big wig to attend the superbowls, and the big wigs ain't gonna like their mercedes or their limos gettin stuck in the snow.

ah the superdome right? you're right I forgot....I was so done with football about week 5 that its barely a blip in my brain this year.

hey who do you like?

personally I will be tuning in just to really see the stones. Although if I got to pull for someone, I might go for Seattle, although it seems odds are against them. It'd be cool if Holmgren could get another ring....

Oh I also have AWESOME numbers in a couple pools....so i gotsta tune in for that.

Just called Ford Field I beleive.

It's ironic, they've almost laid off enough people to fill it in the last few years, wonder how many jobs the naming rights might have saved.

Anyway, I'm going with Seattle. I'm shocked at how one sided the reviews are. People are not giving Seattle much of a chance. I like that, I think they'll USE that.
