Well, the pens are in!

If you would like a couple you can PM me your mailing address and I'll ship one or two out to you (whatever we can get in a first class envelope).

But the bulk of these will be used throughout the city to advertise the station, hopefully reaching 200+ people the first wave, and then once they lose them maybe another 100+ new people

Let me know your favorite color and I'll try to get you one of them!

I couldn't get a photo that really showed how many 250 is, but trust me, it's a lotta pens!

The pens are cool JR! I like the teal and purple the best. I would like a couple, but promoting comes first! If you ever want to expand your promoting area to Michigan, I would gladly take some pens and distribute them for ya.

I'm addicted to gel pens and journals, notebooks, etc. I do like the corrector tape though, especially compared to white out!

I can get lost in office stores. My favorite time of year was when it was time to get school supplies! What is the matter with us?!

I think that is a common problem/guilty pleasure: office supplies.  I'm the same way around back to school time.  There's a certain smell, I can't quite describe it: a mix of scotch tape and pencils.


There's probably some deep seeded reason people like them so much. 


Where's a psychologist when you need them?

Its good to know that it is not just me that can enjoy a nice office supply catalog.


JR, the pens look good . . . but the geek in me noticed something else in that picture . . . trackballs! Excellent choice, my friend! I wish all of the mouse challenged people in this world would give trackballs a chance and learn for themselves how superior a good trackball is.

These are the kind I use:


Nothing like the feel of a cold, hard, smooth ball under your fingers in the morning.

Hey, I agree though, I LOVE track balls. I have them on all my computers. I could never stand the old mouse that you had to keep moving around and you'd always run out of pad so you have to pick it up and readjust it. BAH! Trackballs are the way to go!

Plus it's a blast watching someone who doesn't have one try to use one the first time. They ALWAYS hate it.

I have always had a serious office supply addiction.  Before STAPLES of OFFICEMAX was in our area, if we passed one I would freak out & want to go in and browse. 


I hate clothes shopping & grocery shopping, but give me a whole shelf of spiral notebooks, and I'm salivating.  It's an adventure to go out and get a new pen. 


I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one with this special fetish!


As for my addiction in conjunction with the FFR pens, I promise I will not hoard them for my own use.  (Although they really are nice pens, and I like the way they write.)  I've just been careful who I've given them away to.  I really want to give them only to people who I think would actually tune in, and not just people who will balance their checkbooks with it.  You know, like people who a) have computers & b) people who are into all kinds of music.  I've given some away at concerts, and will give some more away at the next record show I attend.
