I saw this in todays Journal Sentinal and I had to share it, particularly with JD.
I don't know if you ever toured a radio station in your life JD, but I did when I was in my teens, back in the 80's.
They used to be a cool set up. HUGE control boards, usually the producer was in another room behind glass and the DJ or DJS were in a soundproof room surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of cartridges or records.
This photo of the WKTI studio blows me away. With the advent of computers, their setup is virtually no different than ours!
The only real difference I see is the producer Gino (in the back) has a mixing board!
Otherwise it's just three DJ's and a producer sitting around a table with a couple computers and a couple mics!
