Fox is running a two hour season finale of this EXCELLENT show tonight.
I've raved about it before, but I'll do it one last time because this is likely to be the final episode ever unless another network picks it up (which is actually a possibility with this one).
If you haven't seen it, the show is narrated and produced by Ron Howard and is a critics favorite. Usually if the critics rave about it I don't like it, but this one is different.
I'm very sad to see it getting canned, and I'm quite angry about the way FOX has not given it a chance to grow.
Year after year they have cut their orders for the show, moved it around the schedule repeatedly, and gone weeks with the show completely off the air. They never gave it a chance to find an audience.
Hopefully another network will pick it up, give it a slot, and leave it there for a year or two. It's a smart comedy that I think will hold up very well in the future.
