u r correct , saw this a couple of days ago. A while back ( 75 or so years ) some women thought it up as a way to bring about world peace . The ' spread the love ' angle . so she goes to congress and they give it the OK . It failed as a white dove ( what a surprise ) but it did create a new way for someone to make a buck . Sickened with the comercialism run amock the same women went back to congress to get Hallmark Day repealed . She failed .
best thing about this holiday is that some network will show an Al Capone movie.
