I guess the 169 million to 1 odds just discourage me too much.
BUT, with the jackpot up to $360 million I'm going all in this weekend. I've already bought about $50 worth of tix from 10 different stores, and by Saturday I hope to dump another $25.
WHEN I WIN on Saturday I will be hiring Webguy to head up our South Dakota base of operations. With our own webservers, giving us the ability to produce our own stream, free of Live365 and without limits on our listenership.
Next we'll be spending nearly one million on a major advertising blitz across the country to bring in the listeners from all over the world.
A special section of the website will imemdiately be password protected and only YOU, the ones that were here from the start, will have access to that part.
Then, I'll be buying a fully loaded tour bus and JD & I will begin our tour across country to meet you, our listeners.
At every stop we'll be supplying a top of the line new grill, and all the beer, brats and burgers you can possibly eat. When we leave, you'll get to keep the new grill and all the leftovers!
Now wait a sec JR, why do a cross country bus tour? We're talking $200,000,000 here! Look at those zeros! I'm thinking we need to be flown in for a private concert!
Second of all, I am afraid to inform you that I will be the winner.
Third of all, make them withhold the 35% taxes before they give you the money.
Fourth, after I win this big jackpot on Saturday, I am awaiting the arrival of the cash, giving it about three weeks at work and then I am walking out the door. I am paying the remaining co-workers in my office $50k to walk out the door with me on that day without warning. What the heck, we are all losing our jobs anyway. Then the new company will be in trouble. Screw 'em all.
Fifth, I will then support a few causes. One being the station (I have no problem endorsing JR's plan above) and the second taking care of some funding for a few small bands trying to make it. Then I will take care of some charities, including Mz'.
Sixth, there will be a FFR meet and greet and I will have everyone assemble in one place.
Seventh, then I am travelling throughout parts of Europe. Whoever else wants to come is welcome.
Eighth, of course I will take care of my friends and family.
Oh, the possiblities. No matter how much I share, I could never spend it all.

Well, considering you've included us in your plans I can't say that you won't win, but maybe we could split? Then you wouldn't have to worry about FFR at all!
I'd like to start a small record label that tries to get the best local music out there on more of a national stage. Nothing big, just a chance for smaller groups to get some notoriety.
I didn't know Pennyslvania was part of this lotto too. Geez, seems like EVERY state is part of it.
Well, I wish you and Somechick well, but as JD likes to say, "I'm gonna win!"
Okay. Since it is you, I will go for a split so long as it is only you. I don't want to seem greedy, but I don't want to split the jackpot with ten people.
Actually, I would be grateful for anything but the $200k would be nice. I couldn't share as much, but it would be good.
By the way, the top federal tax rate is only 35%, of course you will have to watch for AMT because those rules are still screwed up. PA doesn't tax lottery winnings. So I would only be paying federal.
