Expecially for the newbies- but HOW DID YOU FIND FREEZE FRAME?

We ask this time to time from our newer members- how did you find out about Freeze Frame Radio?

Although if some of the veteran members wish to (re?)share how they found us, please do so here!

Mema & I were working endless hours trying to help fix what Hurricane Katrina broke in our network. We were on conference calls & had no entertainment that we could turn off in a hurry. I did a Google search on free internet radio stations. I found Live365. We can both agree on 80s music so I started checking out the 80s stations. When I found out that FFR took requests, BAM! I was there. This station saved our sanity during a very high stress time. Totally a life saver!

thanks pambo- each time I biotch and moan about live365 not doing enough to promote themselves, relying on us tiny guys to do the advetising etc, its heartwarming to hear that we can be found via them through a google search, and that the requests are the clincher. thank you!

I was promoted to the billing office before the Holiday time.  My new boss told me about live365.  After the Christmas season & all the wonderful hours of Christmas music, I found FFR searching through the genres.  Have stayed ever since - am addicted like the rest of you!!!!

I too found you on Live 365. I had been searching through a bunch of stations not on Live 365 & wasn't happy. I think an ad came up in a search and i gave it a go. My biggest thing is that I crave a variety! I don't remember if FFR popped up for a search of 80's or because of the request system. I think I probably searched 80's though. Although there are songs I don't care for on here, there is so much to offer that it all equals out. And please where are you gonna hear only what you want to hear unless you put a CD in or MP3 it up! I lingered around for quite awhile before I joined the forum. When I saw that you could request songs to be added to rotation- I was sooooooooooo there!

thanks for this info! I guess word of mouth/ google searches are their way of promoting live365. To be honest, if it weren't for Riggs, to this day, I would have NEVER had heard of them!

My boss turned me on to Live365.  The 80's search led me to FFR, and the request line snagged me.  The fact that you are constantly adding music, finding my requests, and having this forum will keep me forever!!

Does anybody else anticipate what they're going to request while driving in on their way to work.  It's just sick that I'm this engrossed in it all.

I must admit I've not stepped into 2006 yet.  I'm still MP3less and too tight to buy CDs.  You all give me my daily supply of music.

I don't usually, but I can't remember the last time I bought myself a CD. I rarely like the majority of a CD anymore. I don't have an MP3 player either.

I'll hear a song on the radio and think "OH!  I want to request this!"  or it reminds me of another song.............
