OMAHA, Neb. -- Golf lovers looking for a college major will be thrilled to learn about the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's latest offering.

UNL now has a major in professional golf management. Program coordinator Scott Holly said the program meets a need in the industry.

"The PGA conducted a study and found out that employers are looking for a more educated golf professional," Holly said.

The program includes everything from how to fix a golf club to classes in horticulture, business and hospitality management.
