I see Mr. Dr is here, where is everyone else?


I finally just got home about 30 minutes ago. My starter went out on the truck, so it was a juggle of people and vehicles just to get home tonight.

My dad's wife and my wife went to a Hospice benefit concert tonight so my dad came in too and hung out with the boy and I. We sat here and chatted while watching U-571. We had a nice visit, and the ladies really enjoyed the concert.

I am having a good day. I designed a book of river pictures for my photographer friend shirley and dropped off another batch of 25 for her today. There is an art gallery night coming up in april and the gallery owner would like to sell these for $20 each- all of the proceeds going to help preserve and restore the rivers and surrounding areas around this area.


I went to the grocery store and ran into my first and eigth grade teachers, who are married, and she is now the mayor of wawatosa (a community within Milwaukee). It was really fun to talk with them for awhile. Really nice people.


Tonight I am heading to the gym for a quick 1/2 hr cardio workout (hopefully they still stay open to 7).


And then I am cooking up Castada di Miella -Italian porkchops with garlic and artichoke hearts!


The recipie calls for a glass of white wine, I will be adding this and then be enjoying the rest this evening!


Tunes on the freeze frame later!


 


sparky sorry to hear about your starter- always a pain when the rides don't work!

Oh you missed the counting thread Ruby day description!


 


I got up and had coffee and a six pack. No JD. Then I cleaned the whole house, loaded up the minivan and headed out- bank, barber shop, hobby store, shoe carnival, payless, Marshall's, Office Depot (2x thanks to the idiot employee), library, KFC, Toys R Us and home. Did 6 loads of laundry. Both kids napped- hubby came by and the boy and I headed out to the grocery store while he watched the girl sleep! Just got done loading the dishwasher- he cooked while I shopped .


 


Garden is on tomorrow's agenda though!

aw I slept into 11 my time- just been burnin the candle at both ends lately- plus I am dial up right now until I get my new high speed modem on monday- so I haven't been online a whole lot!

I'm probably headed to bed here soon. I woke up early this morning and had a busy day. Then my friend called, she needed help moving some furniture and cleaning the room her roommates used to live in (she has a non-smoking house and they smoked in their room), so I'm beat!
