I do love Manhattan Transfer.


Job is OK.  But not what I hoped it would be.  It is really hard to go to work for someone after being self employed.  I don't hide my feelings with the boss and have been cautioned that I may have made a CLM--Career Limiting Maneuver.


Oh, well.  Serves me right.  Hope all is well with you.  I have been out of touch as well and have not been posting like I should.  Thanks for asking--I would love to speak with you some time about raising teenage daughters.  My 13 year old has decided to rebel and it is breaking my heart.

So you've become the dumbest person she knows.

My 14 year old is doing that. I let her have her space and try to get along on her terms but I yank the knot in her tail often enough that she knows who is really in charge.

CP- I am here too and everyone knows the boy and his rebellion. Hope you know that God gives us the strength to get through it! But that does not make it one of the hardest jobs in the world.

I'm lucky. Morgan doesn't like those places. She does the AOL IM but that's it.

Britt does Face Book through school. There seems to be some controls on that that work well. She doesn't put much out there.

The boy is grounded from EVERYTHING right now. But my hubby knows nothing about computers except what he hears. Not too long ago he heard a story about the internet and how is VERY DANGEROUS for a million reasons- we know them all. Well he is REAL adamant about me monitoring his habit- that the boy just plays some games and goes to Whyville. He did AOL one summer, but I did not like the people that try to butt into your conversations.
