Good morning all.

Just getting up and around here. I stayed up late last night so I'm slow this morning.

Afternoon all! It's raining here, but it was storming earlier. We were going to take the recycling in, but that's not a good idea in the rain, so we're just going to go grocery shopping.

Forgot I had to take the step girl to dance so I have been in the roads all morning with the girls! It is in the 80s here- having to use the ac in my van. So far not yet in the house, but might need to. Opened all the windows and have the ceiling fans going!

today for lunch I fired up the grill and made some burgers!! Its a cloudy but beautiful 52 degrees out. I was going to head into work today untill I found out it was going to be 50-something! Glad I chose to stay late last night instead!!

The burgers are sooo good! got a pound of asparagus too (only $1.98/pd on sale!) slathered this with olive oil, put on a scewer along with some hot red peppers! I am in grilled food heaven!!

Today is the St Patricks day parade about a mile south of here. But, eh, naaaa. I like the freeze frame parades better. Being 1/2 irish, you'd think I'd play up to this blarney. naaaaaaah...

think I am going to walk up to the new coffeehouse instead and see how their brew is.

* oh and I had a neighbor comment that even the old crud that I was burning off the grill surface from last year smelt good!

It finally cleared up a bit here, so we took the recycling in. The sun was actually out when we were coming back from the grocery store (another successful trip, no one got ran over by the shopping cart [because my hubby wouldn't let me push it!]), and it actually got warm enough to take off our jackets!!!

It's 59 now. I'm trying to convince Brian to let me take the plastic off the windows, but it's still supposed to get below freezing a couple nights next week, so he said no.

I should be off to the gym....

56 degrees here right now and partly sunny/partly cloudy- the rain let up pretty quick, but it could rain again.

The coffee house by  my house had mediocre coffee at best, and I have the feeling the clerk was trying to figure out how not to ring in my sale so she could pocket the money. I took my coffee across the street and sat in the bleachers by the baseball diamond. This little white dog named Ruthie with a stubby tail came up to say hello.

I made the mistake of buying something called Elephant Imported Malt Liquor. I thought it was the Indian Elephant Beer. Boo me for using peripheral vision at the grocery store.

I feel like grilling out again for dinner! chicken fajitas I think. and malt liquor.
