New Adventures of Old Christine

anyone else looking forward to this?  Seinfeld's one of my all time favorite shows and I think this could possibly be the vehicle to finally give Julia Louis-Dreyfus another hit and prove once and for all, she's more than Elaine.   It premieres tonight.

I just saw a preview of it over the weekend. That was the first I had heard of it. I may give it a look to see how it is.

Oh I am- she was my favorite off that show! They keep saying that they are all cursed! I hope she breaks it with another hit!

Hope we get to see her dance

well, Hollywood is so sexist and ageist towards women that Julia at 45 could be Bea Arthur for all some people care.  It's really not fair that for most male actors, 40 is just the beginning, yet only a few actresses have really lasted past that age as A-listers

Nevermind - For some reason, JD's post showed up before Anf's.

I have a feeling it will flop, unfortunatley we hold Jason Alexander, Julia and all to a Seinfeld standard that just can't be broken. I wish her the best though!

Ok they hooked me! I can totally relate to every aspect of her character. I think she might have some luck with this one!

second episode was better than the first one IMO.  Had to love the little homage to Elaine

Sorry I missed it...but they bumped a show I really like..."How I Met Your Mother" These networks just go out of their way to lose viewers...they will pull a show for 6 weeks or slot it on a different night with no warning...there is no stability to network TV anymore, and they wonder where their audience went

I missed it also - our station wouldn't come in.  Was it as good as the previews?

I'm ticked they moved "How I Met Your Mother"  it's one of the best - if not THE best - new shows out there!  My kids like it too!  D - when is the new time slot for it??
