Hi everyone.

I didn't see a "Sunday morning" thread so thought I better start one.

Its still snowing here, we have about 5" on the ground now. Its a very heavy, wet snow and we are supposed to get more today and tonight.

A Good Sunday morning to you all! Going out to dinner with mom went alright except for the actual restaurant. We are in a bit of a jam though. Both of our vehicles are done and out and hubby is having a hard time moving around to be able to work on them.

Top of the sunday mornin' to ya all!

My thermometer claims it's 49 outside, even though the computer says it's 35, I think the outside temperature sensor must be sittin in the sun right now.

Although, I just took the dog our and I must say it felt closer to 49 than to 35 to me!

Maybe we're just in a hot pocket!

It's 46 here and quite pleasant. The forecast for tomorrow says it'll be 48, and they're calling it chilly. Come on spring!!!

The snow had let up so I went out and cleaned off what we have now. It is a VERY wet and heavy snow. I can hardly lift a scoop shovel of it. My snow blower just kind of belches water out of it.

Now, it's really picked up again and it looks like its gonna do this for a while and a few more inches of white goo.

Apparently that's the case here. About an hour after Mz posted the forecast above, they changed it on us!

just received word up here that the storm should stay south of chicago. With the way the weather predicting has been up here, I am expecting 10 inches of snow!

That's the brisk, fresh scent of a day starting with the Brew Crew in sole possession of first place

That's right boys and girls, you heard correctly.  After beating the St. Louis Cardinals last night the boys have SOLE possession of first place.  Of course, I admit it IS early.  But a little known fact tucked away deep inside the Bill James  Baseball Book of Facts & Stats is that 92.3% of teams in first place on April 16'th that started their season at home with a win against a west coast team that is NOT the San Francisco Giants and includes two left handed former starters as backup players on the bench have gone on to win the World Series!  This record of course exludes West Coast teams that have had their home opener against other West Coast teams.

Long story short.  THE BREWERS ARE GOING TO THE SERIES BAAAAAAY BEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
