We've gotten rid of the old satellite and radar photo's from the main page and replaced it with a more comprehensive local weather block.
If you take a moment to change the location to your zip (by simply clicking the link "change location" in the upper right hand corner of the weather window) you will always have your local weather showing when you come to our website to log on each day.
"Tell me, does it move you, Does it soothe you, Does it fill your heart and soul with the roots of rock & roll? When you can't get through it you can listen to it with a 'na na na na', Well I've been there before" -"Been There Before" by Hanson
Aaaah yes, much nicer than those simple radar images we had. THIS could actually be useful.
All thanks to those fine people at accuweather.com.
I was searching for something like this for awhile, but everything I found had annoying advertising on it. This one just seems to advertise for you to add it to your own site. No third party advertising, so I figured it was good enough. It's also one of the nicest ones I found.
Speaking of weather, I use the Accuweather for Firefox. They've changed it on me again. There's a winter weather warning starting at 1am this morning, and Accuweather lists the forecast for tomorrow as, "A bit of snow in the morning..." A bit? We're supposed to get 6 inches combined with sleet and freezing rain! I hope Accuweather is the one that's right...
