Corey Koskie had a nice night. That guy is a microcosm of what makes our GM Doug Melvin one of the top three GM's in baseball. We sought Koskie in free agency last year but lost out when Toronto offered him $9 million for three years. A year later Melvin got him from Toronto for a couple low-rated minor leaguers AND Toronto agreed to cover all but around 1 million of his pay! Meaning we're getting the guy for half a mil a year!
I had a chance to catch some of your Brewers last night. They are doing a free preview for a couple of days on digital cable of the MLB package. Low and behold there were the Brewers. By time I turned it on in the bottom of the first inning, they were losing 2-0. I rooted for them and I watched it until they were tied at 2 and then I had other shows to watch.
