Oh I forgot hubby has a work thing all weekend that I can't go to so if anybody is gonna be around Michigan or feels like a road trip,feel free to stop in! Please bring drinks though!

Hey woohoo one of these months I was thinking of taking the Milwaukee Ferry to Muskegon for a day trip....not takin the car, just gettin off at the Muskegon shore and seeing what's up for a day. But I have had two people tell me THERE AINT NUTHIN IN MUSKEGON WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO GO THERE TO WALK AROUND FOR!?!? I know you are not from there, but do you know the area, would you agree with these skeptics?

JD- I don't know if I've been there. I didn't travel much when I was younger. Hubby has been trying to help with that. I will ask him when I'm done being mad at him. He has been all over MI!

JD I asked hubby about Muskegon. He said that you have to really love the outdoors because to his knowledge it doesn't excite everybody. There is winetasting around there at the Leelenau Peninsula Wine Trail north of Muskegon or the Southwest Wine Trail south of Muskegon. I've done Leelenau. I need to do another trip because wine is running low, but don't have money right now. 


I have also been to Muskegon to go to the Michigan Adventures Amusement park.

Just look up the area and it will give more options. I just don't know what you are looking to do without a car.
