I have to admit, everytime I eat chicken I wonder about it.
I've seen some "experts" on TV that have talked about how big a disaster it could be if it mutates into a strain that humans can pass, but as long as it hasn't done that I guess I'm not overly concerned about it.
If we got to a point where there were dozens of U.S. cases of it then I might stop eating chickens and turkeys.
That would be great. "Factory farming" is so ugly. What they do to those poor animals before they murder them is just monstrous.

The thing is though, is that the factory farmed chicken are less likely to get the bird flu as they are indoors, it will more likely be the free range chickens that will be more likely to contract the disaese from wild birds.
But like you JR, I'm not too concerned untill the disease mutates into a human form, then we could be in trouble but for now, I will continue as normal.
