We are expecting some nasty storms today. I need to go cut the grass before they arrive. Not much on the agenda today otherwise. The boy helped clean the house yesterday, but I have a mountain of laundry to tackle. One thing I like about the warmer weather though- the mountain is much smaller!

I'm doing some spring cleaning today. Goodwill will see me maybe more than once. I'm cleaning out the garage. I've got lots of crap that is just sitting around collecting dust.

Morning all! It was kinda nice to have the bed all to myself. I slept really well last night. I'm gonna have a mellow weekend. I have some Cd's and labels to make. i have some dishes to do. I'm not sure what I'll do after that. I hope everyone has a good day!

Hey Woo. Do you use the paper labels on your CD's? I'm finding out that after awhile they don't play in the car. I don't know why but in some of the new models after a CD or two the thing starts skipping. A non-labeled CD plays fine. My mom and sister have told me the same thing is happening to them. I'm tempted to buy a new printer that prints on the CD itself.

Yes I put labels on the CD. I haven't had any problems with them. There was one of hubby's that he ended up taking the label off because it was already coming up but that was it. If a problem comes up, i guess the labels will be gone. But thanks for letting me know in case something stops playing!

 I heard a while back that some labels do harm to the cd . perhaps Web knows more .

I would guess it has something to do with the acidity. Kind of like scrapbooking, you only want to get acid free stickers. I've also heard that if you plan to keep a cd for 20-30 years, you shouldn't use a Sharpie on it either, because it will eventually eat away at the disc. But, these are just speculation.

Man, I've got a ton to do this weekend. I want to finish scanning in comics, have to clean the kitchen, I've got a friend's recital to go to at 1 today, and then another friend's birthday at 6. Hopefully the Claritin works today and I won't be miserable on top of it all.

goodmornin- a chilly 34 degrees in Brewtown this mornin.


going to get a perfect saturday morning greasy spoon breakfast, go check the condition of the FFR sign I hung last night (new, improved, hopefully weatherproofed....) if it is good I'll go hang a few more, pick up 2 pieces of Sima's cheesecake for dessert tonight (the BEST there is) and then I can straighten out the house a bit.

Grass is cut and I used the edger for the first time. Hubby says it is not rocket science- wish it was, then it might have looked better! Oh well it will grow back and I will try again. We need a new blade too though, but if it was any bigger, I might not have any grass!

Good morning everyone.

Just doing my normal Saturday morning server stuff.

Mrs. Web took the boy and they went to an Easter Egg hunt. You go pick up a number and then go around the down-town stores to find the Easter Basket with that number on it. The retailers like it because it gets people in their stores.

The only thing I've heard about CD labels is that if they start to come loose, an edge can get caught on the laser head and can possibly ruin a CD player. I've not heard that before that just having a label on a CD can make it unplayable. I don't know much about it.

She does have alot of hair now Ruby, I really need to figure out how to download pictures and send them, my wife usually does that. Last weekend we were in Target and they had a bunny her height dressed in overalls and a shirt standing in the middle of the Easter Isle. She went up and gave it a big hug and kiss so I snapped a picture with my camera phone. Since Cell One switched to Alltel I can't get them to download to the computer. They said be patient and they will get the software fixed.
