Royalty at a strip club

That is just plain wrong!
Prince Harry Celebrates at Strip Club
By Associated Press

LONDON - Prince Harry, the third in line to the British throne, celebrated the end of his military training with a visit to a lap dancing club, British newspapers reported Saturday.

Harry, 21, watched dancers at the Spearmint Rhino nightclub in Slough, southern England, during celebrations marking the end of a year of study at a military academy, the Daily Mirror said.

The newspaper and British tabloid The Sun claimed Harry spent several hours at the venue in the early hours of Friday morning.

"We have no comment to make on the matter," said a spokesman for Clarence House, the office of the Prince of Wales, speaking on customary condition of anonymity in line with policy.

A Spearmint Rhino spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.

Most guys like to go to strip clubs, and why not? Fortunately, most guys' visits don't make the news, that's the only difference. Sounds like a fun way to celebrate to me.

I do not know many men at all that like strip clubs. It just depends on your crowd- there was a time when the crowd I ran with worked there and hung out there! I had a job offer to bartend in one- dressed, but I could not do it. I knew the money was good- but my upbringing make me real uncomfortable in that setting. But to each there own, I really believe that. Like I said I ran with people for ten+ years that went every night and the girls that worked there. Where I worked was popular for bikers and strippers- we stayed open and had live rock and roll til 2 every night. That is big here in the Bible belt! The strip clubs used to have to close at 12.

But in this case I think it was wrong because it is questionable entertainment and not fitting of a future king. It is women exploiting themselves and men enjoying it and spending money that could be put to better use! He is to set an example for kids his age, knowing he is a prince and so popular. Anyway my opinion, but be gentle and feel free to disagree!

It's gotta be so hard to be "an example to young people." That's gotta get old pretty quickly. Being in the public eye like that has to be tough. Like the Hanson guys have said in interviews that they have to be careful of stupid mistakes, because unlike other young men, theirs would be reported & criticized, not just by parents aunts & uncles, but the world. And yes, when you become famous you give up some of those rights for anonymity But unlike Hanson, Harry didn't ask for it - he was born into it.

I say, he's a young guy - let him have some fun. Do what young guys like to do...

P.S. - I'm always gentle. (Unless someone insults my bands. Grrrrrr!)

I see your point and that might be the difference between Hanson and the prince. One choose it and made plenty of money to be famous, the other was born into it. But he too, has a great life with little wants. I just find it sad that would be fun to someone.

And you were gentle and I try to be too. I can agree to disagree. Trust me, it is good to have differences in oponions, it is what makes the world go round!

On the musical side so far we are good! There is not too much music I do not appreciate.
