Ok, probably not the best one to start this thread off, but-

Do you remember when Warren Zevon came out with "Sentimental Hygene" and thinking "holy crap thats the guy that did "Warewolves of London" isn't it?

Do you remember when you could buy 45 rpm singles of "Jump" and "In a Big County" at the RECORD STORE at the mall in 1984?

I thought that was so you would have change to make a phone call.

Remember when parachute pants were popular?  I  remember my brother coming home on leave wearing a pair of those... he was stationed out in California at the time. I believe it was 1984 or '85... no one in Kansas had parachute pants yet.

Hehehehe... now that I think about it, I can remember my brother demonstrating his break-dancing prowess as well.  He looked like a blue, nylon, zipper covered fish flopping about on the ground.  He seriously looked like he was having some sort of spastic episode... come to think of it, he always looks like that when he dances! The only difference now is he's generally upright when he twitches.

I don't know how far this trend stretched but do you remember the brand Esleep pajamas? We would wear them as reg clothes mostly to the beach and stuff and you would roll the waistband of the shorts down! I have no idea why! I know they did this in some areas of Phiily and Jersey too! I tried to find pictures on the net but couldn't find any.
