Alright. We've talked about it, but in about two weeks it will become reality, so I wanted to let everyone know.
In early May we will be cutting our Live365 package by about 70%. Where once we had 130 or so listeners at a time, we now only have about 55 to 60 at a time, and nearly half of those are VIPS.
SO. We will now only have 30 listener slots open.
If you are a VIP you have nothing to worry about, you can always get in. If you are NOT a VIP I recommend you log on early and do not log out until you're done listening for the day. We don't want any of our regular listeners to be locked out of the station.
If you try to log on and are told the station is full you can still try the 32k line, although that one only allows for 10 listeners slots, so it may fill up as well.
Hopefully this change won't affect any of our regulars, but we just can't keep paying for slots that aren't being used.
I think the changes at Live365, combined with IT managers that have clamped down on bandwith, combined with our format of "anything goes" has really left us in a position of no growth
If we notice a lot of sellouts in the future we can always increase the plan again to the 50 mark, and so on.
