We have this new thing at work- we have to wear a pedometer and report our steps every morning. It is a great motivator even if the count is probably not very accurate. The goal is 10000 a day. It has forced me to get out and walk with E at night. I love the mental motivation!

I wore a pedometer at work once and it logged in 3.2 miles!

I've thought of getting a pedometer, but I know me... I would fixate on it, set goals around it, perpetually check it. It would become as bad a the ol' PCS phone... which I swore I would not ever care about or pay attention to.  Now I freak out if I can't find it for 30 seconds.

My youngest has a cheap pedometer that she sits and shakes!!!
