Hello all. It's stinking Monday. I started out by breaking my plastic spoon for my cereal. Is that an omen or what?! It's sounds like hubby is going to be stuck working on his lawn crew because his main guy is in the hospital and may have had a heart attack! Like I said it's Monday.

Another day, week, and month begin . . .

I feel pretty good this morning. I got 8 hours sleep last night. That doesn't happen very often.

42 here now with an expected high of 72. Should be a nice day today.

I concur. Monday it is. I lost half of my day yesterday so I feel like I am behind in everything. When are we napping?


But Web is correct. A new day, a new week and the beginning of a new month that could hold so much promise.

is mercury in retrograde?  i hope today is better than yesterday.  i slept most of the day because of a stinkin' headache.  i don't have a headache anymore, but i feel like someone took a ball bat and beat me...   smiles everyone....   smiles...

This day hasn't turned out so bad. I actually got a couple good laughs out of it. Specifically in watching the executive first quarter briefing.  Our second in command actually said "Don't tolerate bureaucracy.  If you encounter bureaucracy, refuse to accept it!" Ummm... apparently he has never seen the paperwork process involved in getting a new pen around here. I've been out of scotch tape for something like 8 months now because it is just too much effort to apply for a new roll.  Same guy also said it is his personal mission to get rid of reorgs. 


Henceforth... there is no bureaucracy, there is a multi-tiered system of impedance. There are no layoffs or reorgs... some associates may simply be redeployed (to the unemployment line).

Yep it was a holiday here yesterday, as Pip said, I did nothing but watch wrestling, started watching and ECW dvd then watched Wrestlemania 15, now thats a good day for me, plus sat up late and watched the World Snooker Championship Final which ended abot 1:00 am this morning! Now its back to work!

I used to love snooker! years ago there was a pool hall in the neighborhood & all the tables were being used one night except for the snooker one. So we took that, and the owner explained the basics. We were hooked & never had a problem getting the table!

I haven't played for a while but I used to play almost daily when I was younger, will have to try and find a local club here, I would like to get back into playing.
