When I was a kid my uncle took me to the Milwaukee Mile to watch a race of some kind.

I just remember that everytime the cars came around the turn where we were seated I'd get hit with this HOT, HOT gust of wind and be pelted with thousands of tiny peices of rubber.

I was washing that crap out of my hair for three days!

i'm planning my vacation for august to new mexico.  would the penguin like to tag along?  this will be an all expense paid trip to the foothills of the sangre de cristo mountains with a stop at palo duro canyon south of amarillo, as well as the panhandle plains historical museum and the cadilac ranch.  this trip is still in it's planning stages.  sure would like to take penguin if he is free the first part of august --  looking at leaving august 4 or 5  and  returning around the 13 14 or 15.

DS, My Grandparents lived close to the Palo Duro Canyon for a long time. That was the name of his recording company, Palo Duro Records.

we stopped at palo duro canyon last year on the way, and i said that this year i wanted to take in the show in the amphitheater (spelling?) and maybe camp the night.  that is an awsome place!  don't know if i'll camp out this year cos it will just be me and the kids and i don't think my husband would like the idea...  ever been there?

Well, We have the psudo-penguin heading our way from Florida I believe, but maybe they would like a family reunion. I hope it would be a good one, since one has all the brains and the other is good looking.

I wasn't sure if he actually went home with her or not. I thought maybe he found a nice lonely widow in FL to shack up with for a few weeks.
