Not really, but I am used to it. My husband stinks at holidays and gift giving and I think he does not even know what a card is. But I knew that long ago. We both felt so bad today and slept most of the day in between chasing E! He says we will celebrate next week- that means he will get my rosebushes next weekend and we will use our dinner out next weekend for mother's day and little E's first dance recital. But that is good. I also had my usual crying spell- still hard after 24 years not to have my mom here. But I know she is better off and looking out for me.


 


I am blessed to be a mother and have two healthy kids. We ate some Chinese take out and now I am here with my other family, so no complaints!

she's not all that computer/ internet savvy, but we're workin on it!

I sent her an e-mail once that said "hey send me that recipie!" so instead of e-mailing it back to me, she wrote it down and mailed it to me!!!

Oh yeah- I did get a sweet homemade card from E. She used finger paints and it was real sweet! I will treasure it forever!

good! I think its sweet how little kids think of mother's day! Web's kid "hiding" the card from his mom until today, E and the fingerpainting card! how fun!
