3 day weekend!


headed to chicago for saturday and sunday- want to visit navy pier and take this gangsterland tour where they drive you around and visit Al Capones hide-outs and stuff. Also decided to visit the King Tut exhibition!


supposed to be sunny and 80 in chicago this weekend too- c'mon summertime!

Well, no time off for me since everyday is currently time off. But we are going to the ballgame Saturday night (Go Phillies - Brewers suck!) and right now it looks as if the family will be over on Sunday for festivities. Monday may be just another boring days since some of my friends are away for the weekend.

I've got Monday off. Everyone else seems to be taking Friday off, and I've got an appointment right at 5, so I'm working on getting off early.

It seems that  a lot of folks will be off friday here too. BUWHA HAHA these will be the SAME folks who'll be whining that they are out of vacation time when the friday after thanksgiving rolls around!

  Off at noon on Friday and off Monday . 


  Will probly stay close to home ( whats new there ? )  as this town will be full of tourists clogging up the roads and beaches .


  Sunday - watch the 500 ( look for Ray ) and then the 600 .


 Monday A.M. -  get up early , look to the Northeast and sigh as I won't be able to be where I want to be.


 Monday P.M. -  Watch the history channel.

We always get that day off. Some years it's paid,sometimes not. Depends on how we are sitting in the financial.

we NEVER do-as we are gearing up for year end. its usually quite stressful right about then, so its an awesome day to take off if you can, even if to just sleep in late in a warm bed. I already have my request approved!

Technically our office will be closed July 3rd, but we have to use a vacation day if we don't come in. I like the days when the phones are off and there's no one in the office, so I'll probably go in.

thats why I dont mind working late when I do (like today) no turkeys, no phone ringin, no incoming e-mails. just me, the tunes, and the work. (and the pretty 2nd shift girls out in finishing.....julia & mari.....

I still don't know what we are doing for this weekend. We had plans to go up to his parents house but now we hear that it's going to be a full house. We usually don't like to do that then. I'm kinda hoping that we will stay home, plant some flowers, catch up on some things. I will be missing a crafters weekend if we don't go up though.
