Yeah it was a bank holiday as we call them, I'm not sure what particular meaning yesterday's was but I enjoyed it anyway!

Have you ever noticed the difference between 4 day weeks with Friday off and the 4 day weeks with Monday off. When you have Friday off, the week seems to go by terribly slow, but at least you are rewarded at the end. When you have Monday off, the work is already piled up before you come in, the week goes so fast you can't catch up, and personally, I'll just be generally grumpy.

Well despite the fact that it is Tuesday, it is so a Monday! I didn't sleep much last night so I should just be a joy today! Work smells of skunk because one was ran over right at our driveway. Nobody bothered to put the air conditioner in so hubby had to rig it up this morning. Of course the boards or whatever gave it support was missing so had to find new ones. Somebody swiped our power strip for it so we had to go hunt another one down. My computer took an eternity to get to the log on screen and another eternity to give me more than just my wallpaper! I have been here for 45 minutes and have accomplished nothing! Okay I think I'm done for now. Soapbox

Oh I forgot about traffic! i could have killed just about everyone on the road today! They were either on my ass or in front of me driving under the speed limit!

Well I had to restart my computer because everything locked up! I can't work because there must be something wrong with the server and everything on the shared drive. I got internet but no company homepage. The boss is on her way in to look at the problem. I was just hoping to go home!

What a difference a couple days make . . . record highs on Sunday and back to normal temps today. It is 60 now with an expected high in the mid 70's. THAT is what May is supposed to be like here. I hope it rains too, radar is showing some light rain working its way this direction.

Expecting a fairly normal day here, but I never know what might pop up.

Our network and e-mail is down too, woo-hoo. gee whiz, the IT guys don't do a weekend backup or reboot and then we're stuck in the mud while they run around like turkeys with their heads chopped off tuesday am! same after each holiday.

Well we all had to shut our computers and printers down so they could fix the problem. Then them dumba$$e$ don't even bother to call us to tell us it is fixed! Who cares about the other building!

maybe there is an IT union, and this is their way of showing their control over corporate america. I am still down. the only thing I have working is internet. SOme people dont have internet, but they have e-mail. Some only have access to the network. Its wild and sporadic. And its downtime.
