good morning, y'all!  it's gonna be mid 90's again today!  last night was beautiful at the ball park.  it cooled down nicely and the boys played a heluva game!  last game for spring ball

I was driving home last night past our ballpark as I was tuning into the ball game. Not 20 seconds after I tuned in Brewer's Brady Clark hit a home run. Right as I was driving past, I could see the fireworks go off over the stadium. That was pretty cool to see that from the freeway angle.


So of course not 3 minutes later, Brewers give up back to back homeruns to the Padres.... lose the game...

BREWERS SUCK

Mornin' all!

We've had and continue to have some perfect weather here. Low seventies, no humidity, sunny. Very nice. Supposed to stay that way for the next few days. WOO HOO!

Sorry most of the rest of you are getting crappy weather.

Darlene, at least the summer-time nor'easter kept your Red Sox from losing last night! Damn Yankees!

Howdy folks.

This morning, I noticed the family vanster was leaking a little antifreeze. We just had it serviced so hopefully it was just filled a little too full. I'll have to check it out before we take off next week.

Now, I gotta go mow my acre of grass that is almost all brown because of lack of rain.

The radiator is broken.

The radiator fixer-guy thinks he can get the parts and fix it before we take off on Monday morning.

It won't be cheap.

It will be cheaper than one month's payment on a new van.

We're just going to Lincoln and Omaha for a few days. I won't be as active all day, but I will still check in at least in the evenings from the motel.

We're gonna take the boy to the Omaha zoo and watch JR's cousins swim around for a while.

Good day all! I wasn't feeling all that great this morning, and I've been missing a few hours of sleep every night this week, so I took a sick day today. I just woke up and did some light cleaning. Now I'm going to play a game for a little while, take some Benadryl, and go back to sleep.

Thanks Woo! I'm already feeling better. I think the lack of sleep was the worst part. I didn't have to take a sick day today to feel better, but I've got 2 weeks worth and I've only taken one so far this year, so I thought What the heck?

I hear ya JR, probably the first time I was hoping for the game not to be played.  I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Mon and Tues.  As you must be aware.


Tonight, they have to win.  They better win, they must win, they WILL win.  "They will win, they will win.  Say that 100 times over and over it may start belieiving it!

I don't know why you would feel so bad about the Brewers.  At least they aren't the Royals!! I believe the boys in blue are securely in last place.... just like they have been for the last several years.
