A lot of his bigger hits were missing from our playlist, this takes care of adding some of them, along with a few of his newer hits.
Def Leppard: Yeah!
New release from last month. It's a cover versions album of rock songs.
Ordinarily I'm leary of these, but the AllMusic guide says they do a phenomonal job and said it's their best album since HYSTERIA. That made it seem worth adding.
A special thank you to my Russian friends for supplying me with these discs
Has anybody heard about a new David Lee Roth album? I heard him on the radio talking about it the other day and he hinted that it was going to have a country crossover sound similar to Eagles and the latest Bon Jovi song getting airplay.
I had also heard that Bret Michaels was releasing a southern rock album last year but I never heard any of it on the radio or anywhere else for that matter. Just curious.
I have the "Black and Bluegrass" album which is Ozzy done in Bluegrass. I actually really like it. I can now finally understand the lyrics. My only disappointment is that there's not a fiddle in the mix. As the song from Alabama goes, you can't play in Texas without a fiddle in the band. Same should go for ANY Bluegrass band.

I've heard one song from it. It's not a crossover sound, it's taking his old songs and making them bluegrass. I heard the bluegrass version of Jamie's Crying on the radio the other night. I couldn't get into it. But then again, I don't like bluegrass. And that's just too rockin' of a song to make into a bluegrass song, yeehaws and all. Personally, I thought it was sacrilege.
